The AirPods Pro take everything the AirPods made popular and improves on them. Changeable ear tips, smaller design, and ANC modes make these a competitive earbud for the price.
Active Noise Cancelation (ANC) describes a technology in modern headphones that reduces external noise from a listening experience. ANC’s effectiveness varies from device to device, depending on each manufacturer’s algorithms and goals. AirPods Pro include a microphone on the outside earpiece that continuously listens for external noise, then sends an anti-noise sound into the ear to counteract the external noise. This effect is performed with minimal latency, so the wearer never hears the sound being canceled out. A second microphone located inside the ear listens to the sound in your ear canal and will cancel any unwanted noises there.
Second-generation AirPods Pro can cancel twice as much noise thanks to the improved H2 processor and advanced algorithms. AirPods Pro are also vented to equalize air pressure and prevent the user from getting a clogged ear feeling or underwater effect. Venting allows for increased comfort and fixes many issues users may have had with the in-ear rubber design.

| The Beats Studio Pro custom acoustic platform delivers an immersive listening experience. Each custom 40mm driver has been engineered for optimal clarity, with near-zero distortion even at high volume – an improvement of up to 80% compared to Beats Studio3, providing increased audio fidelity.   | The new design has a slightly more bulbous casing with a shorter stem than the second-generation AirPods. They are similar to AirPods Pro but lack interchangeable rubber tips and are slightly bulkier overall. Apple moved away from the double-tap feature for pausing audio or skipping tracks. Instead, it has added the Force Sensor for squeezing gestures. For example, press once to play/pause, press twice to skip forward, or press and hold to summon Siri.
The charging case is squatter and wider to accommodate the new earbud design. It is shaped like an AirPods Pro case but isn't as big. There are still no color options to speak of. Apple stuck with its signature white colors with black highlights for this model. However, there are many third-party cases and skins for those looking to customize their AirPods. The earbuds are now water and sweat-resistant for use during workouts. While older models didn't break easily when splashed with water, these are the first pair with official water resistance of IPX4.

Not these. I’m using them right now as I write this review on my pc desktop. Outside of really dedicated audiophile listening, or applications that demand extreme attention to detail such as audio engineering or sound production for high profile projects, they’re too versatile *not* to use for the vast majority of daily scenarios, with very decent sound quality to boot.
